Nice comfortable restaurant with hearty portions. We love this place so much we order 2x what we will eat so we can freeze half for another meal! We love the okra masala, eggplant chettinadu, chana masala and especially the fish wrapped in banana. She was a bit wary of not knowing what dishes came in the box. Omg best Indian food I've had on a trip like ever!! We ordered the lunch box special, one vegan for me and one chicken for my mom. Fantastic tandoori chicken, all Sags are delicious, garlic naan also good. Sit-down diners could take off masks, but the tables were distanced.I believe this is the best Indian Restaurant in the area, but I have not been to them all. Servers kept masks on, and take-out orderers did as well. They were also careful about distancing and masking. We'll be back, and take family and friends. The servings were large enough that we took a bag home with us for lunches the next day. The sauce was definitely hot, but not inordinately so. The lamb itself was outstanding-four double rib chops, accompanied by a delicious sauce with tomatoes, onions and peppers. It came accompanied with rice and vegetables, which were good. I ordered the rack of lamb with onions and peppers. She said that the lentils were delicious, and the lamb was very tender and tasty, and went well with the rice.
My wife had the lamb kebabs with bismani rice, along with some lentils. overly fast with the service, but this was because of the obvious care that they took in preparing the food. The service staff was pleasant, and took our order promptly. The atmosphere was pleasant, but nothing extraordinary. It looked like they were doing a healthy take-out business. The restaurant was definitely not crowded-just a few other people.
